Smoked Chili Black Bean Dip

Tempt their tastebuds with this perfectly spiced black bean dip. We think of it as Latin hummus!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • ¾ cup onion, chopped
  • ½ tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed well and drained
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ⅓ cup cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • Pinch of chipotle chili powder, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp. salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup water

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, coriander, and cumin. Sauté onions until soft and fragrant. Add onion mixture and all other ingredients to food processor. Process until mixed through. Add water to achieve desired consistency.
