Spicy Chickpea Snackers

Your senses pop with this crunchy, zesty snack. Sweet, salty and spicy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp. Cajun blackening seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • ¾ tsp. sea salt
  • ¾ tsp. fresh ground pepper

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Mix all spices in a bowl, and set aside.
  • Add olive oil and chickpeas to an 8×8 baking pan. Roll pan around to evenly coat chickpeas. Sprinkle seasoning mixture over chickpeas. Roll pan again to evenly coat with seasoning.
  • Bake for 40 minutes for a crunchy exterior/soft interior. If crunchy interior/exterior desired, bake at 200° for an additional 15 minutes.
